Meet the Artist
Inspired by the spiritual energy of the Desert Southwest, I create art that speaks to the deeper self.
My medium is digital compositing, using extracted and manipulated elements to create works of art that invoke a sense of the mystical, while blurring the lines between the real and surreal.
Spirit of Pegasus
The spirit of the wild horse embodies the fierce nature of the Desert Southwest’s rugged landscape. Brought to the continent in the 1400s by the Spanish, the Mustang has become an iconic symbol of freedom, strength, and endurance.
The Pegasus constellation represents the famous winged horse in Greek mythology, and is a powerful symbol for freedom, limitless imagination, and creativity.

Eight Phases of the Moon
The coyote symbolizes cleverness, adaptability, resilience, and strategic thinking. The coyote is also a symbol of transformation.
The ever-changing phases of the moon symbolize wisdom, intuition, birth, death, and reincarnation.
Ruler of the Night
Wolf symbolism appears in many cultures as a source of strength, intelligence, independence, loyalty, and courage. Wolves have deep bonds with their pack members, and work together as a unit for the benefit of all.
The person in the image represents our desire to be guided by those powerful traits to live a life beyond our own limitations.
Superstition Shadow
A few days each year, at sunset, the sun projects the ominous shadow of a mountain lion chasing its prey on the Superstition Mountains.
The mountain lion symbolizes overcoming challenges. This powerful animal represents courage, strength, personal drive, and perseverance, especially during challenging times.
